hidden in the shadows of an unexpected laugh
something too good to pass
congested with your suffocated personality
the echo seems to always follow me.

held so tight in your meaningless grip
a long fall, for a short trip
bruises and scars will come around
everything you say, and said
sits neatly in the corner on the ground

i got cut short of what i deserve
messin around with someone who has no nerve
threw me for a loop, and a dangerously sharp curve
i know when i scream it can't be heard
so ill laugh hysterically instead.
