almost saw his face
his big blue eyes
his warming embrace

open my eyes
cant seem to shake the dream
cant seem to dismiss
missed opportunity

fading in my eyes
burning my heart
cant seem to see
falling apart

still on this earth
i wish he could be
pictures, movies, and
memories just aren't good
enough for me

please open my eyes
let me see.
blocked by the
missed opportunity
in my dream
to have him near me.
keep thinking...
