He Loves me
He loves me
He loves me not
picking the petals
they float aimlessly
into a nestled spot.
Eyes of fire
lips inspire
world full of liars
you lift me higher
The only luck i've had
is when i found you
for the world we live
together to me is true.
hand in hand
you an i will venture this land
eyes to eyes
we realize the worlds plastic disguise
How could i have realized
what would happen at my own demise
how could i have cried
at losing who wasn't mine.
Now i sit, laughing a bit
at how life turned around
smacked me in shock on the ground
for you i have found
my life has meaning, it is a silent sound
love i have discovered
love different than a mothers
for you are my one and only
the butterflies flutter.
He loves me not
he loves me
is the last petal i picked
knowing this was it.
worth fighting for,
battle scars, and troubled lures.
i fought, now i am yours.
petals floating aimlessly, he loves me
hits the floor.
As this life we live together
opening up a new door.
I turned the knob,
your controlling the hinges
breaking the jam, with a sledgehammer in hand.
i will get in, and you will admit.
you love me.
flowers never lie.
He loves me
He loves me not
picking the petals
they float aimlessly
into a nestled spot.
left to wither
with a solemn choice
left with a mouth and voice
nothing to say
not today
rather than
he loves me.
